About Ali

Allison Lowe, or Ali as everyone calls her, was born on May 24, 2002 to Jennifer and Eric Lowe. Ali, has one younger brother, Elijah, age 13. Ali is a Senior at Milken Community High School in Los Angeles, where she is a high honors student. Ali is a full time student taking 9 classes, and has a cumulative GPA of 4.21. Ali is enjoying her senior year, and taking classes including AP Statistics, AP Psychology, AP Physics C, AP Literature, and Honors Topics and Advanced Math, just to name a few!.

At Milken Ali is involved in many activities including National Honor Society, The Student Ambassador Program, and JLife (Jewish Life on Campus). Ali has also been a member of the concert choir, Kol Echad, since 8th grade, and was part of the California Association of Independent Schools Honor Choir in 2017, and in 2018 and 2019 the Choir won Gold at the Heritage Music Festival. Ali also sings with an all-girls Barber Shop Group called the Milken Honeys, which also won the Gold at the Heritage Music Festival. Ali is in her fourth year as a member of the Los Angeles Israeli Dance Company.

Ali also enjoys volunteering with youth programs at her Temple, Adat Ari El, and with her family regularly at Food Forward, collecting fresh food at farmers markets to donate to various organizations that in turn give back to communities in need.

Ali began recreational gymnastics at the age of nine at Lyons Gymnastics Academy. She moved to the team started competing in 2012 at the age of 10.

After two seasons, Ali moved to Paramount Elite Gymnastics, where she has been for almost six years. In her time at Paramount, Ali has gone from a compulsory Level 5 to Level 10. In every season she has had top three finishes in all events across the season, including multiple 1st place finishes. In addition to her many accomplishments, a few highlights for Ali have included being the Region 1 Vault Champion, and having top three finishes at Region 1 Championships in both level 7 and Level 8. In the Level 9 season Ali’s highlights have included finishing 3rd at the So Cal State Championships, and winning first place Vault at the 2019 Western National Championships see her results here.

Ali Lowe recruted by Brown University Gymnastics Currently Ali trains 20-25 hours a week under coaches Sarah Korngold and Liang Zhao. Ali is currently Level 10 and will be starting at Brown University next fall. She will also be competing for the Brown Gymnastics team, Go Bears!
